    *Job Description: *We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pain Management Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive pain management services to patients, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. To travel to the facilities in *Long Island, Rockland County and Orange County, NY. *(willing to drive all over the NY state)

    *Job Qualifications:

    • Education and Licensure:
    • Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization as a Nurse Practitioner.
    • Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in NY
    • Certification in Pain Management Nursing (e.g., Certified Pain Management Nurse, or equivalent) is preferred.
    • Experience:
    • Minimum of [1] year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with a focus on pain management.
    • Experience in assessing and managing various types of pain, including acute and chronic conditions.
    • Skills:
    • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
    • Proficient in developing and implementing comprehensive pain management plans.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Certifications:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
    • Current DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances.
    • Professionalism:
    • Commitment to providing patient-centered care with empathy and compassion.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented healthcare environment.
    *Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Obtain complete health histories and perform comprehensive physical examinations
    • Prescribe and manage pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments for chronic and acute pain.
    • Instruct and counsel patients regarding goals of pain management therapies compliance with therapeutic regimens, medication side effects.
    • Caring for patients with chronic pain.
    • Prescribing medications appropriate to treatment plans as well as checking PMP for prescriber safety.
    • Assisting in trigger point injections.
    • Consulting with physicians to find the correct treatment plan for each patient.
