Tasting Room Team Lead - Dallas, TX

Job description
Barons Creek Vineyards is looking for a Team Lead for its tasting room at our Dallas- Bishop Arts location. This is a full-time client-facing role with opportunities to add additional responsibilities as the position grows. We are looking for an outgoing, friendly and professional demeanor that is able to interact easily with our customers and vendors as well as other staff and other departments of our company.
The Position
- Responsible for the consistent delivery of excellent customer service
- Responsible for contributing to a positive and productive team environment
- Conduct wine tastings
- Sell wine and club memberships
- Assist with on-site and off-site events
- Assist with opening and closing, and restocking of wine and merchandise
The Candidate
- Genuinely interested in learning about wine
- Outstanding ability to connect with customers
- Proven customer service track record in a retail or hospitality environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays with overtime occasionally being required
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs cases of wine and to stock merchandise and wine
- Ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail
- Flexible, friendly, approachable, responsible and passionate with a "Can do" attitude
- Previous experience with wine and tasting room environments helpful but not required

High school or equivalent
