Position Summary

At Nicolet College, the mission is to transform lives and enrich communities by offering innovative programs and strong employer partnerships. The World Language Instructor will provide instruction in Spanish for transfer and occupational programs, monitor local language needs, and lead the development of global education opportunities. This role involves teaching Spanish and global education, maintaining student records, and participating in community outreach.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and enhance instruction using various methods.
• Maintain student interactions and records to support success.
• Collaborate with faculty to improve program offerings.

• Lead global education initiatives.
• Coordinate study abroad programs.
• Provide guidance to students on academic and career paths.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Effective online teaching practices.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Innovative approach to Global Education.
• Ability to teach Spanish language skills.
• Motivation to work independently and collaboratively.

Required Qualifications: Master's degree or higher in the Language being taught.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teaching experience in a post-secondary setting.
• Experience with alternative delivery methods.
• Global studies experience.

Physical Demands:

• Detailed-oriented and able to perform complex tasks.
• Ability to multitask and use office equipment.
• Required frequent sitting, typing, and reaching.
• Occasional lifting of office items.

Compensation:
The salary range is $64,105 to $92,853 per year, based on qualifications and experience, with comprehensive benefits.
