    Position Overview:
    We are currently seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join the Rehab Unit.

    A Physical Therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to improve patients' mobility, reduce pain, and restore or enhance physical function following injury, surgery, or illness.

    Working in various healthcare settings, such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation centers.

    Physical therapists utilize evidence-based techniques and therapeutic interventions to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and optimize their overall quality of life.


    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and functional status to identify impairments, limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
    • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' assessment findings, medical history, goals, and preferences, incorporating evidence-based interventions and therapeutic modalities to address specific rehabilitation objectives.
    • Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, gait training, balance training, and modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy, to improve mobility, strength, flexibility, and functional independence.
    • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, rehabilitation techniques, home exercise programs, and strategies for injury prevention, empowering them to actively participate in their recovery and self-management of symptoms.
    • Continuously monitor patients' progress throughout the rehabilitation process, reassessing functional outcomes, pain levels, range of motion, strength, and mobility, and modifying treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes and achieve rehabilitation goals.

    Documentation and Reporting:

    Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards and insurance requirements, ensuring continuity of care and communication with other healthcare providers.


    Qualifications:

    • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
    • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a physical therapist in the state of practice.
    • Clinical experience in orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, or geriatric physical therapy preferred.

    Working Conditions:

    • Various healthcare settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, schools, or home health agencies.
    • Direct patient care involving physical exertion, manual techniques, and exposure to infectious diseases and hazardous materials.
    • Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and interaction with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
