    Description


    Our beverage client is looking to bring on a Quality Assurance Auditor to their team on a fulltime basis, sitting in California or on the West Coast as this role will require travel.



    Responsibilities:
    Travel to all production and co-manufacturing facilities on a regular basis.
    Develop, manage, and maintain a documentation and record-keeping system for all quality control which includes: photos of facilities, lot numbers and lot dates, code dates, sensory analysis, and all documents completed onsite
    Ensure all relevant information is captured, recorded and accurately entered in a timely manner on companys Google Drive
    Monitor and document all aspects of the production Including raw materials, processing, packaging, and storage, to ensure adherence to quality specifications
    Maintain an audit schedule for all production and co-manufacturing facilities
    Facilitate the development and reporting of organizational metrics that lead to enhanced audit organization
    Assess and provide feedback on the quality of corrective action plans to ensure the effective completion and mitigation of all risks
    Be in the know of all industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in beverage and quality assurance.
    Ensure Contract Manufacturing sites are adhering to the companys set Quality Standards and other relevant food safety standards set by customers we work with


    Requirements:
    Bachelors degree in science, engineering, or related technical field or equivalent experience
    Minimum 4-6 years in an operational quality or food safety role within a leading food or pharmaceutical manufacturing organization
    HACCP Certification required
    SQF, BRC, Internal Audit, and Better Process Control School Certification required .
    Canning and Bottling Experience strongly preferred
    Demonstrates effective communication skills (written, oral and presentation)
    Experience with comprehensive root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies
    Demonstrates examples of use of these tools in the solving of quality problems/risk
    Understanding of importance of technical governance in delivering a quality product
    Demonstrates evidence of critical thinking, logic, patience, reasoning, continuous learning, and development
    Ability to Travel up to 80%.
