- Be closely familiar with technical expertise available in the science, acquisition, finance, training, contracting, property, and other teams to leverage the full spectrum of knowledge available in the A&AS community and to appropriately apply the IPT construct.

- Serve as an integrator and coordinator assisting SMs and PMs in determining the type of expertise required for any given engagement
- Anticipate, receive, confirm, track (log) and proactively follow through on integration support requests and integration activities throughout engagement lifecycle.
- Serve as a liaison and promulgate information sharing to facilitate effective collaboration among all teams and SMEs involved in each engagement.
- Keep track of collaboration and engagement integration status and schedule in alignment and coordination with SMs, PMs and A&AS PLs supporting new and ongoing BTRP engagements as well as internal initiatives and processes.
- Recommend and facilitate cadence of productive coordination and communication with relevant parties in the government-A&AS community and with external stakeholders
- Assist IPTs in in defining internal coordination requirements, formulating appropriate coordination approaches, and defining integration and coordination success factors.
- Facilitate coordination of technical support of government SMs, and engage A&AS counterparts, throughout the acquisition lifecycle including but not limited to requirement validation, project idea development, acquisition planning, project initiation, execution and monitoring, and closeout.
- Facilitate cross-team coordination and review of documents and recommend or update processes to leverage expertise from science, acquisition, finance, training, contracting, property, etc
- Keep relevant stakeholders apprised of the integration status throughout engagement lifecycle.
- Support government counterparts in preparation to Program Management Reviews (PMRs) by identifying necessary SMEs, formulating or updating required information attributes, sharing information between parties engaged in PMR prep, facilitating quality reviews, among other PMR preparation activities.
- Support prompt and thorough responses to short-fuse taskers
- Document integrations and coordination best practices across all efforts, summarize and use lessons learned, and make recommendations to adapt, apply, and embed those practices throughout the project life cycle
- Travel in support of the BTRP mission, as needed

- At least 3 years of project management, scientific and technical support or similar experience
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
- Experience and successful track record building effective relationship with clients and other stakeholders, understanding client's requirements and meeting client expectations.
- Experience applying project management best practices in support of multiple ongoing projects.
- Experience tracking multiple competing priorities and dynamic integration components.
- Record of accomplishment working in a matrixed environment, coordinating work across large, diverse teams, and being an effective and collaborative team member.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office tool suites.
- Demonstrated ability to write for senior leaders.
- Flexibility/adaptability/suitability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel internationally.
- Requirement to work in the office at least 2-3 days a week.
- Candidates will be cleared at a DoD Secret level or able to be cleared at that level
- Masters of Science Degree.
- 5+ years of project management, scientific and technical support or similar experience.
- Familiarity with Cooperative Threat Reduction with experience related to DTRA CTR and government acquisition processes preferable.

Responsibilities The Integration Lead (IL) serves as a coordinator and integrator working closely with government Science Managers (SMs), Program Managers (PM) as well as Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) personnel contributing to implementation of the Biological Threat Reduction Program (BTRP) prioritiesILs are responsible for tracking and anticipating needs and connecting SMs and PMs with relevant A&AS SMEs to support seamless information, deliverable and process flow aligned with quality and schedule requirements
The ILs engage and collaborate with government counterparts on a broad range of activities supporting effective collaboration across the government and A&AS Integrated Project Teams (IPTs)
ILs incorporate information from country and regional-level requirements, program plans and end states into holistic recommendations for technical activities including but not limited to biosafety enhancements, technical trainings, biosurveillance studies, and lab renovations
IL is primarily a coordination and integration role - with a focus on eliciting and applying technical information (e.g
reviews, analysis, metrics, etc.) from A&AS SMEs - in support of Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) priorities, acquisition plans, and facilitates collaboration across various government and A&AS teams applying the Integrated Project Team (IPT) concept
ILs work closely with A&AS Portfolio Leads (PLs) to facilitate comprehensive support and contribute to successful program engagements throughout the lifecycle - from new country assessments and requirements development to engagement closeout
This role requires familiarity with the BTRP mission and biological threats, and sufficient understanding of technical and PM domains to determine types of subject matter expertise and support required for BTRP mission execution
The role requires familiarity with all subject matter expertise available in the A&AS team to facilitate integration of key internal resources working on individual projects as well as overall program implementation
The role requires excellent communication and teamwork skills, ability to support government clients achieve strategic objectives without losing sight of details, ability to keep track of formal and informal taskers and deliver necessary advisory and assistance services in support of multiple, competing priorities
The IL is expected to collaborate with the government SMs, PMs as well as A&AS counterparts and be a reliable source of advice and assistance
ILs report to the Division Leads
ILs' primary client interfaces are the Science Managers and Program Managers
ILs are responsible for building relationships with the government SMs, PMs, Division Chiefs and other counterparts in order to effectively advise on and assist with matters related to the integration
ILs are required to understand the limitations and restrictions pertaining to the contractor's role and authorities/responsibilities that qualify as an inherently government function
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Gain access to, and become proficient in various government systems to include Automated Trip Request Information Process (ATRIP), Program Budget Management Tool (PBMT), Mercury/Threat Reduction Logistics Services (TRLS), and Consolidated Acquisition Tool (CAT).
