- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- No experience required and on the job training provided
- No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
- One (1) year of similar work experience preferred
- Obtains empty Gaylord containers and lids and or boxes from receiving.
- Assembles totes & boxes & super-sacks and places them on pallets.
- Loads empty assembled containers on production chopper conveyors prior to their filling cycle.
- Removes full containers promptly when their filling cycle ends.
- Transport containers to warehouse, or to the inspection area as designated.
- Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs to equipment or operating systems.
- Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
- Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities
- Must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.
- Obtaining container parts, assembling them to meet production cycles.
- Keeps assembly area clean.
- Cleans chopper conveyors continuously throughout the shift.
- Drives a fork truck to move all materials handled.
- Transports product to warehouse (fork truck training available).
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned
