    Description

    Are you a Licensed Audiologist interested in taking on an assessment role?

    Do you enjoy serving the Veteran community?

    We are seeking an Audiologist to conduct medical evaluations for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

    Before meeting with you, the Veteran will file a claim. All their medical records will be uploaded to a computer portal for you to review during the appointment. Your tasks will include performing a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test, as well as completing a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the portal. This documentation serves as the medical evidence the VA needs to determine the Veteran's benefits.

    The Audiologist will not be responsible for prescribing any medical treatments or devices.

    In this role, you can expect to review and evaluate an average of 3-6 Veterans per day.

    Schedule

    Full-time position (Monday-Friday 8am-4pm)

    This is an ON-SITE position that offers 1 to 1.5 hours per patient, with no evening shifts, on-call duties, weekend work, or involvement in hearing aid sales.

    Requirements

    • AuD degree from an ASHA Accredited school
    • Active Audiologist license
