Job Description

To provide education to students in the College of Pharmacy, with a focus on the Clinical Psychopharmacology students. Maintain a clinical practice site in the Integrated Mental Health Clinic and develop partnerships with external practice sites.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching (40%) - Teach course in the MSCP and PharmD curriculum, student precepting in clinical experiences.
Clinical Practice (40%) - Maintain clinical practice as a prescribing psychologist in the Integrated Mental Heath Clinic, direct patient recruitment activities, assist in billing.
Service (15%) - College, university, local, regional, and national committee representation; work with local/state organizations to advocate for prescribing psychology/psychopharmacology; develop/provide psychopharmacology continuing education programs.
Scholarship (5%) - Develop and maintain an active scholarship program.

Minimum Qualifications

D./Psy.
D. in Clinical Psychology (or a related field) from an accredited program.

Completion of an MSCP degree.
Eligibility for licensure in Idaho as a clinical psychologist and a prescribing psychologist.
Demonstrated history of clinical practice.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desire to advocate for the advancement of prescribing psychology.

Preferred Qualifications

Graduate level teaching experience.
MSCP teaching experience.
Teaching experience utilizing online learning management systems.
Licensure in Idaho as a clinical psychologist and a prescribing psychologist.
Clinical supervision experience.
Board certification in Medical Psychology.
Demonstrated scholarship activities.
