    JOB SUMMARY

    The Instructional Coach, Onsite/School Site serves as a resource for the implementation of the educational program for Aspire Public Schools. This position provides training and support for teachers on site. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions
  • Works with assigned teachers to identify needed skills/techniques.
  • Conducts demonstration lessons, holds mini-workshops and professional book clubs, and provides summer training.
  • Shares written materials and organizational techniques.
  • Keeps up-to-date on educational research and best practices.
  • Works closely with the principal to identify needed resources (. consultants, curriculum materials).
  • Facilitates team meetings.
  • Supports teachers who are applying for National Board Certification.
  • Monitors the replication of the Aspire educational program.
  • Provides constructive feedback to Aspire.
  • Participates in the designing and redesigning of the Aspire educational program.
  • Additional:
  • Demonstrate knowledge of, and support, the Aspire Public Schools mission, vision, value statements including antiracism, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

  • Minimum educational and licensure:
  • Bachelor's Degree; Masters preferred
  • CA Multiple or Single Subject Teaching Credential
  • Experience required:
  • 5+ years teaching and administrative experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Edusoft
  • Record of success in developing teachers
  • Experience in performance assessment

    Our salary schedule is based on years of experience for this position type.

    Salary range is $86,114-$110,546.
