About Our Client
Looking for an experienced construction accounting manager at our McKinney Texas headquarters. In this position, you will perform end-to-end bookkeeper duties and manage accounts payable, accounts receivables, and journal entries for the business. This role is growing and has leadership components. Responsible for training and managing a team of finance personnel as the company continues to grow.
Job Description
Support COO in the management of company financial data to ensure compliance with regulatory standards (GAAP) The Successful Applicant Deep understanding of accounts payable/receivable practices with proven bookkeeping experience in the Residential Construction Industry What's on Offer A competitive base salary between 85,000-100,000 with benefits. * Perform Accounts Payable tasks to ensure timely and accurate construction payables and conduct Accounts Receivable tasks
* Carry out daily accounting tasks such as General Ledger entries including the recording of income, payments, and adjustments
* Manage invoices weekly
* Reconcile bank accounts monthly
* Run financial reports as needed

* Proficiency in calculating, posting, and managing accounting data and financial records
* Data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* Hands-on experience with MS Excel spreadsheets, Intuit QuickBooks and construction software such as Hyphen Solutions Brix/Build-Pro or comparable
* BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, and/or Business Administration or equivalent years of experience (5+)
* Leadership skills, experience in managing a team
