    Location: Lombard, IL.

    Responsibilities:

    Home care managers are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of home health agencies. They are tasked with ensuring that their staff is properly trained and equipped to provide quality care to clients.

    Home care managers may also be responsible for developing new programs or initiatives within their agency. This might include anything from creating a new training program for employees to launching a new service offering to clients.

    Home care managers typically have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:
    • Documenting care plan progress and outcomes to improve care in the future.
    • Conducting initial assessments of clients' needs to develop care plans.
    • Creating and implementing individualized care plans for each client, including home repairs and modifications to accommodate disabilities.
    • Interviewing, hiring, and training new staff members as needed.
    • Managing the employees who provide direct care services to clients in the home.
    • Supervising all home care staff, including monitoring their performance, resolving conflicts, and providing feedback on performance.
    • Making sure that all home care services are delivered according to the established standards of practice and regulatory requirements.
    • Maintaining client records, including logs of visits, tasks performed, supplies used, and changes in the client's condition.
    • Coordinating services with other healthcare providers to ensure that all needs are met.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.
    • Proven leadership experience in a homecare or healthcare setting in Nevada.
    • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
    • Ability to build positive relationships with staff, clients, and external stakeholders.
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing industry trends and organizational needs.
    • Proficient in healthcare management software/s and Google Workspace.
