Somerset County , NJ Permanent Apr 11, 2024Compensation: $120,000 + BonusOur client, an international leader in technology in healthcare, is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join their New Jersey location financial team.

This position will oversee financial operations within specific divisions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency within accounting processes.

The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, implementing financial policies and procedures, and providing strategic insights to support business decision-making.

ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day, monthly and annual accounting operations, including balance sheets, income statements, general ledgers, and journal entriesPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management reviewEnsure compliance with GAAP and IFRS requirements, as well as internal financial policies and proceduresOversee and manage year-end external auditsDevelop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risksManage budgeting and forecasting processes for the Group Services divisionCollaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and optimize efficiencyProvide leadership and guidance to accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvementStay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and drive operational excellenceRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMBA, CPA , or related certification preferredMinimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accountingMinimum of 3 years of management experienceStrong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirementsProficiency in accounting software, ERP, and advanced MS Excel skillsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skillsDetail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrityAbout our ClientGlobal Medical and Technology LeadersAdditional Job Details
