    Palo Alto Networks is building a world-class NPI product management team and continues to look for top-notch NPI product managers to expand the team.

    We are looking for an exceptional leader for introducing new products and services in our Cloud Security Speedboats.

    In this role, you will partner with various product, engineering and business stakeholders to introduce a portfolio of new products in the cloud-delivered market.

    In addition to your thought leadership and creativity, you will partner closely with IT Product Managers, R&D Product Managers, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Revenue, Sales Operations, and Global Customer Support to ensure new offerings are robust and the experience for our customers and partners is seamless.

    Having a software engineering background and experience supporting the business functions listed is critical for success in this challenging and rewarding role.

    Define vision and strategy for how modern cloud products should be commercialized, sold, licensed, and supported in the enterprise market
    Align closely with product management from Ideation to General Availability to eliminate delays in GA timeline
    Manage new product offerings effectively, manage feature prioritization and trade-off decision making in collaboration with Product Managers
    Partner with business, product management and engineering to define requirements, develop functional specifications, and estimate delivery timelines
    Act as the product owner in an Agile/Scrum process and own writing of user stories, acceptance criteria, and sign off on feature completion
    Manage business expectations, be proactive in planning for new offerings, and build excellent partnerships with various leaders within the company
    A product development background with excellent knowledge of commercial aspects of cloud products
    Understanding of the commercial and operational needs of Cloud product offerings
    Knowledge of business systems readiness for product launches (SFDC, SAP, Steelbrick quoting and billing)
    Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams as a Product Owner
    Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering or an equivalent combination of skills, training, and experience or equivalent military experience is required
    Software development background is a plus
    Located in SF Bay area who can be in office 3 days/week

    For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $142,000/yr to $229,700/yr.

    The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
