    We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Independent Agency Partnerships to drive the growth and expansion of our partnerships with independent advertising agencies. Reporting to the SVP of Strategic Partnerships, the VP of Independent Agency Partnerships will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive partnership strategy to enhance our market presence, drive revenue growth, and strengthen relationships with key agency partners.

    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

    You'll bring independent agency specialization to our teams and will have the chance to:

    1. Develop and implement a strategic partnership plan focused on cultivating and nurturing relationships with independent advertising agencies to revenue growth and market expansion via committed spend agreements.
    2. Identify and prioritize target independent agencies based on their potential to drive business growth and strategic alignment with our company's objectives.
    3. Lead the negotiation and execution of partnership agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions that align with our company's goals and objectives.
    4. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product, and operations, to develop tailored solutions and initiatives that meet the unique needs and requirements of our agency partners.
    5. Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to independent agencies, providing expert guidance and support to help them maximize the value of our solutions and drive success for their clients.
    6. Serve as the primary point of contact for key agency partners, building strong and lasting relationships through regular communication, engagement, and collaboration.
    7. Partner with the sales and commercial org to maximize the activation and actualization of partnership agreements.
    8. Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and industry developments to identify new opportunities for partnership expansion and innovation.
    9. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our company's products, services, and technology solutions, as well as the broader adtech media landscape, to effectively articulate value propositions and drive adoption among agency partners.
    10. Partner with go-to-market functions to develop best in class tailored collateral, events and other marketing activations for independent agency leaders and teams.
    11. Track and analyze key performance metrics and KPIs to measure the success and impact of partnership initiatives, and provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership.
    YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
    • Proven track record of at least 12 years in sales, biz dev, or strategic partnership development and management within the media and Adtech industry, with a focus on independent agency experience.
    • Strong network and existing relationships with key players in Independent Agencies.
    • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market dynamics, trends, and competitive landscape.
    • Analytical mindset and proficiency in using data to drive decisions.
    • Strong collaborative nature and ability to work across the gray with multiple business partners to drive strategic initiatives forward.
    • Highly self-aware, analytical, and committed to continuous self-development.
    • Advanced understanding of digital advertising technologies, platforms, and ecosystems, with the ability to articulate technical concepts and solutions to non-technical audiences.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
    • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including experience in a matrixed org and working successfully as an influencer and driving alignment towards common goals and objectives.
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

    Pay Transparency

    For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York City, NY, MiQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to New York City and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At MiQ, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $210,000-$250,000. This range may vary for positions outside of New York as it has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled and does not take into account our bonus and commission structures.
