    Description

    PRODUCTION OPERATOR:

    Under the direction of the Production supervisor, Production Operators are responsible for putting together all mechanical components and parts to assemble water meters.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Follow safety and quality standards.
    • Read and understand product traveler.
    • Verify correct materials according to traveler.
    • Assemble first piece and obtain approval from area supervisor.
    • Assemble product according to process sheet.
    • Program product.
    • Other tasks or duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Able to use hand tools and power tools.
    • Manual dexterity and good motor skills
    • Strong hand-eye coordination
    • Attention to details.
    • Organized
    • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, proactive, eager to learn.
    • Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Must be able to safely maneuver up to 70 lbs.
    • Steel-toed safety shoes and safety glasses are required.
    • Able to work overtime daily and on weekends when required.

    HOURS

    2nd shift: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM Mon-Fri; Saturdays 6:00AM to 2:00PM
