    Job Summary:

    Assembles and/or adjusts a variety of standardized parts or sub-assemblies of parts to meet engineering specifications in accordance with blueprints, specification sheets, and/or other instructions.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Assembles, adjusts and/or fits a variety of standardized parts or sub-assemblies of parts on a semi-repetitive basis to meet engineering specifications in accordance with blueprints, specification sheets and/or other instructions.
    • Must report to work on time, station ready and able to work in a fast pace Push/Pull team environment.
    • Must be able to follow all rules and guidelines per Clean Room environment & follow 5s standards.
    • Produces quality and quantity of work in accordance with departmental requirements.
    • Performs non-complex fitting, adjusting, testing, flushing and checking.
    • Accurately records counts, time, and other related paperwork.
    • Performs preventive maintenance as directed.
    • Knows and observes all plant and departmental safety practices and procedures.
    • Follows housekeeping procedures in maintaining a neat and orderly work area.
    • Knows and uses Statistical Process Control as appropriate.
    • Be willing to work in a flexible work environment where operators rotate jobs throughout the day.

    Qualifications:

    • Must be able to understand and follow instructions in English.
    • Must work well on own and be a team player.
    • Must be able to read and understand operation sheets.
    • Must have basic computer skills.

    Education and/or Experience:

    • Must be high school graduate or equivalent.
    • Must have over 6 months experience as an Assembler II or have equivalent experience.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be willing to perform highly repetitive work.
    • Up to 50lbs max lifting without assistance.
    • Continuous walking/standing/stretching/bending/kneeling is required for the position.

    Working Conditions:

    • Working around moving parts of automated robotic machinery.
    • Working around oils and fluids.
    • Working within a clean room wearing the required static coats, hairnet, and beard net (if needed).
    • Required working overtime from time to time to include weekends or extended hours.
