Job description

Infosys is seeking a Senior Manhattan WMS Consultant. As aSenior Manhattan WMS Consultant, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including requirements elicitation, application architecture definition and design. You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts and deliver high quality code deliverables for a module. You will lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 4 years of relevant Information Technology experience
• U.S. Citizens or those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply. We are not able to sponsor at this time
• Location for this position is Kansas City, MO. This position may require travel to project/client location

Preferred Qualification:

• At least 2 years of experience in Manhattan WMOS warehouse management system
• Experience in PL/SQL, Unix Scripting and preferable experience in SCI Cognos Reporting
• Experience in leading and guiding a team of functional and technical SMEs
• Experience in working in onsite-offshore model and be able to co-ordinate with offshore on a daily basis.
• Experience in reviewing Manhattan logs, DB logs, restarts and suggest improvements.
• Experience in trouble shooting skills and propose permanent solutions for the WMS operational and application issues.
• Experience in working in various inbound and outbound functionalities of Manhattan WMOS.
• Experience in implementing Manhattan WMOS application and rolling them across distribution centers.
• Experience in Manhattan WMOS application configurations.
• Experience in Peak Season Support and should be proactive in decision making for system improvements.
• Experience in in MHE integrations and Support
• Experience in periodic Status reporting to client and Infosys

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs
