We're currently seeking a

Senior Electrical Controls Engineer

for a leading manufacturer in Wheatfield, Indiana.

This person will play a vital role in the integration of new projects including installation and design of new vision systems and automation equipment.

Also, a direct impact on safety, reliability, cost reduction, and process improvement at the facility

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical. process control, chemical engineering or a related degree in engineering is preferred.
3+ years of experience in a Control Engineer, Automation Engineer, Instrumentation Engineering or Electrical Engineering role
Experience working in an automated plant.
PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.
Experience using AutoCAD Electrical is a PLUS

Responsibilities:
Supporting operations and capital projects.
Utilize automation systems to increase the throughput, quality, safety and reliability of our processes.
Provide conceptual system design for proposed projects and design documentation sufficient for construction, operations, and maintenance.
Develop engineering and capital cost estimates for assigned projects
Implement programming guidelines and standards.
Design, program, modify and maintain PLC and HMI systems.
Manage implementation of upgrades and new technology.
Create instrumentation and control system specifications.
Using AutoCAD electrical for designing of electrical schematics.
