    Job Summary: As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting optimal oral health for our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include performing dental cleanings, conducting oral exams, educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, and assisting the dentist in various dental procedures.     Responsibilities:

    • Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing
    • Conduct comprehensive oral exams, evaluate oral health conditions, and identify signs of disease or abnormalities
    • Take and develop dental x-rays as necessary
    • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations for at-home care
    • Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide to patients as authorized by the dentist
    • Assist the dentist in various procedures, such as fillings, sealants, and fluoride applications
    • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using our practice management software
    • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile working environment
    • Continuously expand your knowledge and skills through participation in ongoing professional development opportunities

    Requirements:

    • Valid Dental Hygiene license in Massachusetts
    • Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program
    • Current CPR certification
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a team environment
    • Proficiency in dental software and technology
