    Description
    Working in this position involves receiving and preparing products on our polymer emulsion product line,and preparing orders for shipment while following prescribed safety, quality, lean activities (5S) , inventory, production, and shipping processes and standards

    Key Responsibilities Include:
    Ensure that the provided equipment to complete production is in top operating condition.
    Follow the Work Order Packaging instructions to ensure products are correctly packaged for shipment.
    Properly transfer raw materials from their designated work area into their appropriate storage areas.

    Transfer material in bulk tanker trucks between plant facilities; position tanker trucks for loadingSpot-check the packing list for incoming materials before submitting to Shipping and ReceivingPackage the finished product into the designated container (tote, pail, carton) and prepare for shipment, including printing product labelsWeigh material, inspect the package integrity, load the material onto the transport carrier and ensure the accompanying paperwork is properly processed.

    Responsible for the accuracy of the inventory in work area to ensure work area is stocked Participate in cycle counts for the raw materials andaccurately count the assigned items on a weekly basis.

    When an issue occurs that prevents work from being accomplished, proactively elevate the issue to the Plant Manager for resolution.

    May be responsible for cleaning storage tanks and trucks, as neededOther duties as assignedRequirements:

    High school diploma or GEDExperience in manufacturing environmentClass A CDL in good standingTime management and organization skills to track orders and stay on scheduleEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work with peers in a team effortDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesSound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focusAbility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays pursuant with industry demandsBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office and industry related software programs;use of the telephone, computer, email and/or mobile devices for communicationAbility to work in confined spacesAbility to lift up to lift heavy objects, up to 50 lbs.

    May occasionally require work in temperatures above 100 degrees F and below 32 degrees F, exposure to slippery or uneven surfaces,climbing ladders and working off of elevated surfacesPreferred, but not required:
