Insight Global is looking for Senior Cloud Engineers for an enterprise client in Phoenix, AZ. This position will require working onsite 3 days a week.

Senior Cloud Engineer

Location: Phoenix, AZ onsite Tues-Thurs

Duration: 12 month contract-to-hire

Pay Range: $65/hr - $80/hr

*Not able to work C2C

Must Haves:

4+ years of experience in public clouds such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Oracle

2+ years of experience with Infrastructure automation tools, Terraform preferred, with a focus on immutable infrastructure

Software development experience in one OO programming language: Java, Python, Go

Understanding of good cloud architecture to ensure high availability while ensuring the highest level of security and visibility

Experience with public cloud monitoring capabilities, also Logging and Monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Splunk, ELK, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.

Ability to effectively interpret technical and business objectives and challenges and articulate solutions

Job Description:

Our client's Cloud Engineering team is looking for innovators to help build world-class applications, Cloud platforms and infrastructure supported by integrated CICD, Observability and security capabilities.

The Senior Cloud Engineer role will be responsible for driving design and core foundation engineering automation and delivery for Hybrid Cloud in partnership with broader Cloud and internal teams. This role will help to advance the client's technology's hybrid multi public strategy. This role will help achieving the primary outcomes of the cloud strategy including better agility, innovation, and economics for all technology teams.

The goal of the team is to continue to build upon robust cloud services in support of hosting applications in multiple public clouds as well as private cloud.
