    Summary:

    The Policy Procurement Associate will be responsible for outbound contacts such as calls, letters, e-mails, and faxes to insurance agencies, carriers, and borrowers to verify property insurance renewals. The associate must be able to multi-task between various systems to research and document the phone calls using problem solving and problem resolutions skills.

    Essential Duties and Functions: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
    • Makes outbound contacts on a variety of loan and policy types in an attempt to secure policy renewals.
    • Follows workflow directive from the leadership team to determine priority of work
    • Notates accounts to maintain record of due diligence and attempts made to obtain documentation
    • Updates residential policies to maintain coverage and keep policies in an active status
    • Communicates with leadership team over potential issues that will have a negative impact on the loan
    • Communicates with borrowers and their agencies to make sure client standards are upheld
    • Maintains database and spreadsheet files.

    Required:
    • High School Diploma/GED
    • Strong organizational and analytical skills
    • Computer knowledge - Windows based environment
    • Attention to detail
    • Ability to prioritize workflow and work in a fast paced environment
    • Customer service oriented
    • Works well in a team environment
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Attendance/Quality/Production must meet PFI standards
    • Exceptional telephone demeanor
    • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
    Preferred:
    • Some College work
    • Previous property insurance and or mortgage servicing experience
    • Proficient with MS Office
    Physical Requirements Necessary on a Regular Basis:
    • Repetitive motion. Manual dexterity, arm and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse and telephone 7-8 hours per day.
    • Speech and hearing sufficient for in-person and telephone communication 7-8 hours per day.
    • Vision sufficient for use of a computer monitor.
    • Sedentary position. Ability to sit at a desk 7-8 hours per day.
    • Worker not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions
