- Participating in the design, implementation, and testing of firmware/software systems.
- Prepare and maintain designs and test documentations.
- Mentor other Associate Engineers and Technicians.
- You enjoy understanding hardware and software interactions, and are willing to collaborate with Hardware Engineers on projects.
- You have a B.S. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- You have 2+ years experience in embedded systems development, including: C, C++, and assembly languages.

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is looking for a Firmware Engineer to join our Government Services Division team.
This position supports a variety of projects requiring design, implementation and analysis of complex embedded devices.
The ideal candidate will have experience with VHDL, developing software and firmware in C/C++, and using a variety of test/diagnostic equipment.
