Job Description
With over $30 billion in revenue, Takeda Pharmaceuticals is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. We are located internationally including Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Europe, South and Central America, and the United States.
We are looking to hire multiple Finance Co-Ops into our Finance organization for a six-month program starting July 2024. While we are a hybrid environment, we expect our Co-Op to be onsite most days. We provide a supportive environment with bi-weekly meetings with your hiring manager and/or mentor. Our hope is that at the end of the six-month co-op assignment, Takeda may have (dependent on economic conditions) full time perm financial analyst roles the co-op could apply to.
The Finance Co-Opprovides aspiring finance and accounting professionals with a unique experience in corporate finance and accounting. Over the course of the 6-month program, Co-Ops sharpen their skills through a variety of experiences including ownership of daily responsibilities, participation in special projects, and completion of a cross-functional community service projects.
Assignments are designed to challenge Co-Ops to learn, adapt, and add value to their teams. Finance Co-Ops who excel in the Program will be considered for future other full-time finance positions as they are available.
Each Finance Co-Op is assigned a peer mentor to help introduce them to Takeda's corporate culture and the values and goals of the finance department.
