    Description
    Insight Global is looking for a Maintenance Engineer for a Chemical Manufacturing client located in Pasadena, Tx. This person will be joining a team of 5 including 3 other Maintenance Engineers and a I&E Engineer.

    This role will report up to the Maintenance Superintendent and will be responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of the company's Mechanical Integrity program.

    This person will be preforming Root Cause Analysis on equipment experience system failures and recommending solutions.

    A key component of this position is enforcing and maintaining a safe work environment by following the company's internal safety policies as well as SHEQ regulations.

    This individual will be responsible for identifying equipment and facility failures and preforming root cause analysis to assess a solution.

    This role will be responsible for the repair of equipment but mostly will need to strategize better operational processes to implement at the Plant to try and restrict the occurrence of equipment break down and repairs.

    Outside of their own team this person will be working with the on-site mechanical technicians, planners, project engineers and other members of Production.

    This role will be cross trained at each of the companies Plants in Pasadena as the company has 4 major business units this person will be able to be taught an developed with.

    This position requires this person to be on call for any emergencies that may potentially occur at the Plant but will participate in a rotating schedule with other team members.

    This position is onsite at the Pasadena site M-F with regular business hours starting at 7:30am and offering a 9/80 schedule.

    Mechanical Engineering Degree

    Experience working in SAP

    Experience with Project Safety Management

    Experience with Risk Analysis

    Chemical Manufacturing Experience
    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

    Degree from a ABET accredited University

    3+ years of experience of Industrial Maintenance

    3+ years of experience in a Chemical Manufacturing Plant

    Experience with National Codes & Standards: (ASME, API, ASTM, NFPA)

    Proficient Microsoft Excel & Word Skills

    Experience with reading technical drawings:
    (P&IDs, isometric, electrical, fabrication)

    Experience troubleshooting equipment
