    Description

    Job Title: Chemist with AI Expertise (Scientist/Senior Scientist)

    Alsym Energy is at the forefront of revolutionizing energy storage solutions through the development of cutting-edge battery technology. Our mission is to accelerate the transition to sustainable energy by leveraging the power of artificial intelligence and material science. We are seeking exceptional talent to join our interdisciplinary team in pushing the boundaries of electrolyte development and material discovery.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Spearhead the development of new materials for battery technology using AI-driven methodologies. Focus on electrolyte development to enhance battery performance and sustainability.
    • Employ advanced AI and machine learning models, including deep learning and predictive analytics, to identify novel materials and predict their performance within battery systems.
    • Work closely with chemists, material scientists, and engineers to integrate AI insights into practical material solutions, enhancing project outcomes and efficiency.
    • Stay at the cutting edge of AI and chemistry research, exploring new techniques and methodologies to advance the field of material science and battery technology.
    • Effectively communicate complex AI and chemistry concepts to a diverse team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaborative problem-solving.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • PhD in Chemistry, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Material Science, or a closely related field.
    • Solid foundation in the principles of AI and chemistry, with a specific focus on material science and its application in battery technology.
    • Extensive experience in developing and deploying AI models in the context of material discovery.
    • Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and relevant computational chemistry tools.
    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of innovation in AI and material science, evidenced by patents, publications, or significant project contributions.

    Preferred Skills and Experience:

    • Demonstrated experience in battery technology, especially in electrolyte development, is highly desirable.
    • Experience in managing and analyzing large, complex datasets, and leveraging computational platforms for high-throughput material screening.
