    Job Description:
    As the Strategic Sourcing Manager in Technology, you will play a pivotal role in driving the organization's success through management of IT sourcing and strategic negotiations. Your primary responsibility will be to manage critical SaaS contract negotiation. This role will require deep knowledge of contract management and will support the team in the review of MSAs and order forms prior to signature. Leverage your industry knowledge and negotiation expertise, you will support initiatives to achieve positive ROI and substantial year-over-year savings, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, mitigating contract risks, and fostering strong supplier relationships.

    Duties:
    • Manage contract negotiation activities for technology related engagements Contract Execution: Lead the business negotiation process with external suppliers. Own contract initiation and closure.
    • Work with internal partners and key suppliers to improve efficiencies, tracking and pricing specific to licensing engagements.
    • RFx Services: Own and lead the supplier interface for all RFI, RFP and RFQ services. Partner with appropriate internal teams.
    • Competitive Benchmarking: Identify key benchmark suppliers in RFx efforts. Partner to identify evaluation criteria and provide relevant data back to the internal team.
    • Cost Modeling: Ensure best in class pricing and terms are secured for equipment and services. Build should-cost models when appropriate.
    • Serve as a primary contract reviewer for Technology contracts (e.g. Master Agreements, Order Forms, Statement of Works, NDA, etc.), with a focus on Software & Cloud engagements Collaborate with Commercial Legal, Sourcing Team, and internal stakeholders to mitigate contract risks.
    • Assist with managing and organizing vendor's contracts, update templates, and conduct research on preferred legal terms and negotiating positions.
    • Drive continuous improvement of supplier performance (e.g. cost, terms, quality, timely delivery).
    Skills:
    • Experience with creation and improvement of business processes and documentation Prior experience in the cloud industry, computer hardware or related field is desired.
    • Prior experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment desired.
    • Experience reviewing, redlining and negotiating MSA, order forms and other contractual agreements and knowledge of boilerplate legal concepts (i.e. Indemnity, Limit of Liability, etc).
    Top Required Skills:
    • 5+ years of relevant experience as a transactional paralegal, contracts
    • 5+ negotiator, or contracts manager, sourcing manager, vendor manager,
    • 5+ or equivalent experience
    • Substantial experience in contract review, structuring, and drafting, as well as negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements Strong proficiency with vendor agreements, particularly cloud service/SaaS agreements and software licenses
    Education:
    • BA/BS or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience as stated in the skills section.
