    Bush Veterinary Neurology Service Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at Bush Veterinary Neurology Service in Rockville, MD.

    **Key Responsibilities:**

    • Perform venipuncture and place IV catheters
    • Administer medications (IV or other methods) and take vitals
    • Observe, document, and recognize changes in patient attitude, abnormal behavior, and changes in condition
    • Provide high-quality medical/nursing care and work well independently and as part of a team

    **Requirements:

    • Current and active Veterinary Technician License in Maryland or another state that qualifies for licensing
    • At least two years of Veterinary experience as an RVT or one year as a Veterinary Assistant with two years of experience
    • Extensive experience with anesthesia, venipuncture, and catheters
    • Excellent communication, patient care, and customer service skills

    **Compensation & Benefits:*

    • RVT salary: $30/hour + commensurate with relevant experience

    **About Us:**

    Bush Veterinary Neurology has four locations across two states. Our clinics operate under board-certified neurologists who provide same-day life-saving neurosurgery and long-term medical management. We use state-of-the-art equipment, including MRI and computed tomography, to diagnose complex conditions. Our neurologists perform both spinal and brain surgeries, such as intervertebral disc surgery and brain tumor removal. As a Registered Veterinary Technician at Bush Veterinary Neurology Service, you will have the opportunity to utilize your skillset and continue to develop your knowledge in a supportive team environment.
