    We are seeking one or more production operators for our Knoxville, TN manufacturing facility. As a growing firearms component company, the candidate will be tasked with operating CNC machines while maintaining quality and keeping a clean organized workplace.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines that require high skill to set up and operate. (2-axis and multi-axis) ( Swiss, DMG, Okuma, Takisawa, Brother, Haas etc.)
    • Working with blueprints, operation sheets, travelers or other specifications, set-ups and completes the machining operations to produce a quality part.
    • Responsible for generating and checking part dimensions during various machining stages with complex measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and special purpose gages.
    • Required to perform precise indicating on parts where true indicator reading (TIR)
    • Responsible for achieving all required tolerances and finishes that will produce quality parts in a timely manner and for meeting standards as set forth by Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Assurance.
    • Must adhere to all Environmental, Health and Safety requirements and all Quality requirements.
    • Verify and record actual part count, both prior to and upon completion of all work
    • Perform visual inspections (part relationship to operation sheet/blueprint configuration) on all parts produced and performs actual dimensional verification using measuring instruments as per the guidelines established by the department or the Quality Assurance Department.
    • Enters all work performed into the database and documents all scrap.
    • Notifies leadperson or supervisor of any parts shortages or machining problems/difficulties.

    General Requirements:

    • HS Diploma or GED
    • 1 - 3 years CNC operation preferred

    As a firearm component manufacturer employee, you will be subject to pre-employment background check and random drug screening; failure of either will disqualify the candidate prior to or at any point during employment.

    Job Type: Full-time in an air-conditioned plant Currently working 4 days x 10 hrs. per day, plus overtime.
