    Where we need help** Weve come a long way since launching Allbirds with one product, one website, and five employees in March of 2016.

    Now, we sell shoes in five countries, run three brick and mortar retail stores, and have big plans for the future.

    The People Team is looking for a Retail and Customer Experience (CX) People Business Partner to support the complex needs of our expanding flock across our Retail Organization on the East Coast and our distributed CX team.

    There is a second Retail People Business Partner who is responsible for our West Coast Retail Teams and Retail Operations.

    As a Retail and CX People Business Partner, you will work with Retail managers, District Managers, Director of Retail, and Associate Director of CX to unlock the potential of our Retail and CX employees and teams.

    You will not only serve as a consultant and advisor on people related issues, but will also identify needs and support the development of solutions to a variety of complex business challenges.

    **Build relationships with managers and leaders to optimize team performance and engagement within our Retail and CX Organization.

    • Partner with leaders and provide guidance in the following areas: career planning, performance management, change management, data reporting and analysis, employee relations, recognition programs, and strategic development.
    • Listen to, follow up with, and build trust across the Retail and CX Flock so that you are doing things with and for our employees to help them successfully deliver on the business needs and customer expectations.
    • Analyze trends and metrics to identify and support the development of solutions, programs and policies that support business and employee growth.
    • Flex seamlessly between designing and doing, between employees and managers, between the People function and being part of the business.
    **Ability to travel to Retail Locations (up to 25% of the time)

    • Minimum of 5 years of People Business Partner or generalist experience directly supporting managers and leaders
    • A combination of experience in the following areas: performance management, recognition programs, culture, engagement, coaching and development, talent management, conflict resolution, talent acquisition, data analysis, and complex employee relations management
    • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and communicate insights to stakeholders as well as to get creative when data does not readily exist
    • Demonstrated curiosity and motivation to roll up your sleeves and learn, at their core, how businesses operate
