    Job Title

    Project Manager

    We are seeking a confident and highly motivated Project Manager to join our Interior Design team in San Diego, CA office. This experienced professional will be responsible for managing all aspects of projects across various sectors, bringing the schedule, budgets, and scope of work to completion and client satisfaction.

    This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of 3 days per week onsite at our San Diego, CA office.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Serves as primary client contact and manages project from start to finish.
    • Supports business development activities and identifies new work opportunities.
    • Participates in client meetings with high level of proficiency and confidence.
    • Works closely with Director of Interior Design to lead projects across all sectors.
    • Develops and validates project scope and fees, budgets, and services during marketing and contract development process.
    • Directs design process from programming phase through construction administration and FF&E to carry out design intent.
    • Manages execution and delivery of implementation documents through all phases of a project.
    • Develops detailed project schedule and communicates key deliverable dates to project team.
    • Leads project review meetings to improve project delivery, quality, and profitability.
    • Initiates, documents, and maintains project set-up, including contract review and project accounting documents.

    Requirements:

    • Proven ability to provide excellent client service and leadership.
    • Proactive and adaptable with strong initiative to drive results in fast-paced environment.
    • High level of design competence with knowledge of building codes.
    • Excellent communication skills verbally, in writing, and in presentations.
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
    • Self-sufficient and collaborative.
    • Proficient in Revit, ACAD, Sketch-up, and MS Office.
    • Excellent organizational skills with ability to follow through to project close-out.
    • Sound work ethic and highest level of integrity with ability to handle confidential matters.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager for Interior Design projects.
    • Completion of Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Interior Architecture from NAAB or CIDQ accredited program.
    • CIDQ or NCIDQ certification a plus.
    • Healthcare, Commercial, and Civic experience a plus but not required.
    • Commitment to ongoing professional growth.
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions or visa sponsorship.
