    Job Description

    This is a full-time night shift position at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. The licensed practical nurse (LPN) will work under the supervision of a registered nurse and provide direct patient care to patients of all ages.

    The ideal candidate will have recent nursing practice experience, a current LPN licensure from the Maryland State Board of Nurses, and certifications such as PALS, ACLS, and NRP. They will also be able to lift up to 100 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

    As an LPN at Baltimore Washington Medical Center, you will be part of a team that is dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services to our community. You will have opportunities to work with patients of all ages, develop your clinical skills, and advance in your career.

    • Maintains accountability for meeting basic physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs of the patient.
    • Performs any and all duties involving direct patient care as assigned by the RN within guidelines provided by the Maryland Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures.
    • Maintains effective communication with all levels of the patient care team utilizing lines of authority appropriately.
