    Location:
    Northeast GA/Atlanta GA/Chattanooga, TN/Houston, TX

    Work Type :
    onsite for first 90 days then in office 1 or 2 days a week.

    Spend 40-50MMHR, (temp agencies) , Marketing ( Advertising) Travel (P- Cards, Travel & Events) Capex, IT , SG&A

    Job Overview:

    As the Category Manager for SG&A and Capital Expenditures, you will be responsible for developing and implementing category strategies to optimize spending, drive cost savings, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

    You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Develop and implement category strategies for SG&A and Capital expenditures, in alignment with company objectives and financial goals.
    Analyze spending patterns and identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and drive savings.
    Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop sourcing strategies to meet their needs.
    Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and pricing.
    Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships to ensure compliance with contract terms and service level agreements.

    Work closely with finance and accounting teams to track spending, forecast budget requirements, and report savings achieved through sourcing initiatives.

    Stay informed about market trends, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements related to SG&A and Capital expenditures.
    Provide regular updates to senior management on category performance, savings achieved, and opportunities for further improvement.


    Reporting RelationshipsReports to:
    Corporate Procurement Manager

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

    Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management, with a focus on SG&A and Capital expenditures.

    Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

    Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with procurement software or systems.
    Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or similar certification preferred.
