- Utilizing your skills in Electrical Engineering you will work closely with Analog, Digital, and/or Signal Processing Engineers in the Ultrasound Engineering team
- Contribute to test plans and perform testing, technical, and root cause analysis to verify design performance at sub-system and system level.
- Model and simulate designs for analysis and performance
- Currently enrolled in a program with at least three years of study towards a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
- Passionate about continuous learning & adapt to new technologies, methods, and approaches
- High ability to organize self and are willing to integrate into a team to achieve ambitious goals together
- Fluent in English Communication
- Knowledge of state-of-the-art methods & tools (CAD/simulation) used in electrical design
- Knowledge of Digital Electronics, Analog circuits, Signal Processing and/or FPGA design

Are you interested in an Internship opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) degree to participate in a 3-month paid intern opportunity at our site in San Diego. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience in engineering for a HealthTech company.
Your role
Work in a fast-paced R&D environment as part of a cross-functional team that is working to design and develop Intravascular Ultrasound. Through this role you will gain valuable hands-on experience in engineering for a leading Health Tech company.
A global, cross-functional technical team responsible for the design, development, and implementation of Intravascular Ultrasound products. You are a member of the Ultrasound Engineering team.

Philips Transparency Details
The hourly pay range for this position is $28.00 to $31.00, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
