Job Description:
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the
Website Administrator
opening in Gray Maine oversees the web design and development, routine site maintenance, content maintenance and updates ensuring the sites align with the goals and objectives of the institution.
This position will partner with colleagues cross-functionally to develop best-in-class website experiences for our audiences, ensuring that all accessibility mandates are met.
This is a full time, IN PERSON position No remote options available and the client will not pay for relocation.
Job Responsibilities:
Assumes responsibility for the company websites (by planning, organizing, evaluating, and developing resources, making recommendations for the overall site regarding design, security, upgrades, and technical issues, monitoring the sites and gathering information to make refinements based on changing technology, user expectations, and web trends, and assisting with the promotion of the websites in key search engines,Creates secure online forms, generates reports, monitors the online giving site, manages access for approved internal users.
Helps to assure an informative, accurate, and interesting presence on the web by adhering to web policies and protocols when necessary.
Designing and adding new web pages, modifying and updating existing web pages, maintaining current links, and performing other duties related to web development and maintenance.
Ensures coordinated implementation of web projects by communicating clearly with units attending meetings and representing the interests of the company websites and responding to inquiries.
Assures the accessibility of all company websites to all interested persons regardless of disability and assures compliance with state and federal laws regarding accessibility.
Follows safety and infection control policies while assisting with their enforcement.Assumes responsibility to maintain and upgrade professional knowledge and skills with regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments, and applicable laws.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related fieldCourse work in digital media, web design or computer programming is highly preferred3 -5 years of progressive experience in a related job discipline.
Extensive knowledge of website management, analytics, and design.
Working knowledge of or ability to quickly learn web content management systems, applications, and tools used by the organization.
Highly proficient with HTML/CSS; working knowledge of XML, SQL, JavaScript, and other programming languages.
Must have Salesforce experienceProficient using Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop Experience in Salesforce and WordPress is highly preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated visual communication and design skills.
Strong Project Management Experience.
