    New Business Account Manager - Greater NY City Metro area

    Description

    Become the first sales hire at a high-growth, venture-backed startup delivering rapid at-home diagnostics. You'll own national B2B partnerships—pharmacies, retailers, public-health agencies, universities, digital-health platforms, distributors—building a pipeline from scratch, closing multi-site deals, and shaping the go-to-market playbook.

    You can expect full autonomy, direct access to leadership, and uncapped upside as you scale revenue and lay the foundation for a future sales team.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Owning national B2B partnerships with pharmacies, retailers, public-health agencies, universities, digital-health platforms, and distributors.
    • Building a pipeline from scratch and closing multi-site deals.
    • Shaping the go-to-market playbook.
    • Selling to institutions such as universities and public health facilities.
    • Working with distributors like Mckesson and Cardinal.

    Requirements

    • At least 2 years of experience selling to universities, public health facilities, or distributors.
    • A proven track record of building pipelines, shifting market share, and exceeding targets.
    • The ability to draft a sales plan and execute it.
    • Startup DNA with adaptability, self-direction, and the ability to thrive in fast-moving and ambiguous settings.
    • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • A Bachelor's degree and the ability to travel to key accounts and industry events.
