We serve as general counsel and professional consultants for companies and investors around the globe in a wide variety of industries. POTENTE is currently seeking an Associate Attorney to join our diverse team in our San Diego office. The ideal candidate should have experience in Business Transactional Law, including Enterprise Development, Trademarking and Intellectual Property, Entertainment Law, Real Estate and Development Law, Permitting and Licensing, and International Law. This position requires a self-driven attorney with the willingness to go the extra mile.

    Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Assisting and supporting senior attorneys in negotiating, drafting, reviewing, and revising contracts for complex legal matters
    • Conducting initial client consultations
    • Working with clients on day-to-day advice and inquiries
    • Managing and facilitating client communication and legal projects
    • Performing administrative and management functions in relation to all aspects of projects
    • Preparing and drafting legal documents (entity formations, contracts, etc.)
    • Continuously building a current working knowledge of laws and regulations relevant to our clients
    • Able to conduct research regarding applicable topics and regulations
    • Communicating with varies agencies and filing of necessary documentation
    • Monitoring communications from clients at all times

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience practicing law
    • Juris Doctor Degree from an Accredited Law School
    • Active member in good standing with the California Bar Association
