JOB DESCRIPTION:

Performs technical planning, high level and detailed requirements definition, test planning and execution (to include use cases, test procedures and test data), software systems integration, and technical support for software systems and subsystems in support of the Army Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) Integrated Booking System (IBS).

Provide engineering and development support for a complex legacy system, implementing software enhancements, trouble shooting and resolving production problems, and addressing security vulnerabilities.

Software system engineering effort may include concept design, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. (It should be understood that this is not intended to be a detailed nor comprehensive description of any individual employee's job content. Managers set the specific duties and responsibilities for each employee).

Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field. General knowledge of other related disciplines. Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives. Work is peer reviewed, and tested by the client organization to measure whether objectives have been met.

Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.

Solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable and consistent with organization objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's and five (5), Master's and three (3) or relevant years of experience in lieu of degree
Git/Gitlab
Java
Fortify
CompTia Security+ Certification
Support for Production System
Ability to provide to on call support occasionally


Preference:
Experience workin on DOD programs, or USTRANSCOM or SDDC
Full Stack Developer
TestComplete Experience
Familiarity with CMMI
Agile Experience
Oracle PL/SQL
Oracle DBMS
Experience with older Java Versions

Target salary range:
$100,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
