    Contract to Hire, 100% Onsite

    This role involves substantial cable and phone manipulation, as well as installation and maintenance of Category 6 and 6A network cables. Additionally, the technician will be tasked with the installation and testing of voice over IP phones.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Unify Phone System Support:
    • Handle adds, changes, and moves within the Unify phone system.
    • Conduct troubleshooting of phones to resolve issues promptly.

    Cable Installations:

    • Execute the installation and maintenance of Category 6 and 6A network cables.
    • Ensure cable configurations meet specified requirements.

    Voice over IP Phones:

    • Install and test voice over IP phones for optimal performance.

    Skills Needed:

    Cable Installations:

    • Minimum of 6 months of experience in cable installations.
    • Background in electrical wiring or a related field.

    Phone Installations:

    • Minimum of 6 months of experience in phone installations.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Communication Skills:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

    Customer Service:

    • Strong customer service skills to interact with clients professionally.

    Troubleshooting:

    • Understanding of basic troubleshooting techniques for voice instruments

    Skills Needed:

    6 months cable installations (electrical wiring is a related field)

    6 months phone installations
