The Event Manager will manage every aspect of their assigned events from advance planning stages through end of event; hire train schedule supervise all event staff coordinate communication between event staff delegate assignments ensure overall customer lessee satisfaction experience.Responsibilities
- Advance plan service supervise all events
- Plan direct evaluate work subordinates provide leadership guidance for event personnel analyze challenges identify alternative solutions project consequences proposed actions implement recommendations organizational objectives communicate clearly concisely orally writing establish maintain effective working relationships lessees clients coworkers parttime staff contractors patrons public municipal officials work flexible schedule including long nights early mornings weekends holidays needed complete duties customer service focus teamwork dedication Oak View Groups principles assist preparation building meet requirements upcoming events shows assist completion pre show event financial estimates assist completion post show event settlements advise lessees services available independent contractors events recruit train supervise event staff create work schedules delegate assignments function liaison users facility facility staff recommend evaluate required staffing levels coordinate communication building staff show staff during load load investigate resolve complaints professionally ensuring customer satisfaction make hospitality arrangements review emergency planning procedures distribute detailed data sheets prepare approve biweekly payroll serve manager duty scheduled duties responsibilities assigned
