PRN Occupational Therapist need for weekdays and occasional weekend hours Must have experience in an acute care hospital setting We are looking for someone to complete our team and enjoy the culture of teamwork as we help our patients regain their lives back.

This is in an acute care setting, seeing patients on all floors with all different circumstances.

As an Occupational Therapist - pro re nata (PRN) Weekend, you will select evaluation and treatment methods that are appropriate to the diagnosis, age group and physical/emotional status of patients in addition to formulating appropriate treatment plans.

To help achieve our mission, you will adhere to department policies regarding timeframe, form and content of written evaluations, progress notes and discharge summaries.

Completes daily progress notes that reflect patients' responses to treatment, actual performance and an assessment as to their status, relevant to the treatment plan, and eventual discharge needs and treatment summaries if needed.

Documents clearly, concisely and legibly within established time frames (e.g. allows other therapists to continue treatment, allows for interpretation by payers, supports reimbursement).

Contacts families, physicians or other healthcare team members in anticipation of specials needs for patients/families in a timely manner to facilitate effective treatment plans.

Provides educational materials and methods appropriate to patients' levels of understanding and motivation. Gives appropriate instruction and supervision to assistive personnel consistent with program/clinic policy and regulatory requirements.

Experience:
New graduate occupational therapist (Prefer 1-year of experience)
S. in Occupational Therapy- Masters Preferred
Basic computer knowledge, proficient in English verbal and written skill
