In our East Harlem community mental health clinic (article 31), the Home of Integrated Behavioral Health; in our four integrated medical and mental health clinics for youth in foster care; in our school-based mental health programs; and in our in-home therapy programs throughout the five boroughs, we provide a wide range of evidence-based, trauma-informed treatment models and services tailored to the needs of families, and regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay.

    The New York Foundling is the citys premiere provider of evidence-based mental health services in the public sector. In our community mental health clinic, the Home of Integrated Behavioral Health; in our four integrated medical and mental health clinics for youth in foster care; in our school-based mental health programs; and in our in-home therapy programs throughout the five boroughs, we provide a wide range of evidence-based, trauma-informed treatment models and services tailored to the needs of families, and regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay.

    The Department of Specialized Clinical and Psychiatric Services consists of psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and administrators working within our five clinics and utilizing models including Trauma-Focused CBT, Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Trauma Systems Therapy, CBT for anxiety and depression, and specialized individual and family therapy for LGBTQIA+ clients, among others. We work in multidisciplinary teams with low caseloads, high support, and data-driven operations.

    The Clinical Supervisor will carry a small caseload, to implement TST or another evidenced-based systems focused trauma treatment. The schedule of this role is expected to include a hybrid model that includes in-person on-site in the Bronx. Training in trauma treatment is included along with clinical supervision. The department is dedicated to DE & I allowing for many opportunities to participate in DE & I initiatives through interest committees.

    Major Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Provide administrative supervision to SCPS-regional mental health staff in the Bronx.
    2. Provide Clinical Supervision for 5 or 6 clinical psychotherapists, as well as students as indicated.
    3. Implement trauma treatment with a small caseload of youth in foster care within their system of care in the Bronx.
    4. Complete any documentation/review of documentation in a timely fashion.
    5. Support clinical psychotherapists in preparing a monthly program quality assurance report.
    6. Other duties as required

    Salary Range: $82,846.97-$86,346.97/year
