    Kapi'olani Medical Specialists (KMS) is a specialty physician group dedicated to caring for Hawai'i's women and children through excellence in academics, physician training, medical research and clinical care. The group is comprised of over 100 Specialists, Nurse Practitioners and other staff, covering newborn to women's health services at Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children. KMS operates exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes, offering highly specialized care options at Kapi'olani and building support for these services within Hawai'i as a whole. The groups specialty areas include: Neurology, Orthopedics,Genetics, Adolescent Medicine, Otolaryngology, Behavioral Health Services, Hematology/Oncology, Neonatology, Pediatric Intensive Care, Family Medicine and the full spectrum of Pediatric Specialties. Its Women's specialists include Breast and General Surgery, Adult Hospitalists and GYN Oncology.

    Founded on the philosophy of empowering women to take charge of their health, Kapiolani Women's Centers have been helping women to take good care of themselves and their families for years. Through the Women's Centers, clients receive health screenings, diagnostic tests and treatment services at our two convenient locations in Honolulu and Aiea. Kapiolani Womens Centers are the only Oahu facilities to be named Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence by the American College of Radiology. The Centers rank among the top five percent in the nation. Other areas of health care at the Womens Center include: bone health and osteoporosis, menopause, ultrasound, womens counseling and coaching, aesthetics, massage, acupuncture and various educational classes geared toward healthy living.

    As a Mammography Technologist II, you will help to provide quality diagnostic services and care for our women patients. Your responsibilities include performing screening and diagnostic mammographic procedures for evaluation by a physician. We are looking for someone meticulous and dedicated, with a solid understanding of technical and imaging procedure, excellent communication and patient care skills and a commitment to creating a healthier Hawaii.

    Minimum Qualifications: Must meet education requirements for Hawaii state licensing. Current Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. Registered Mammography Technologist (M) and Breast Sonography (BS) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), or must obtain within one (1) year of hire. Two (2) years clinical mammography or related experience. Valid driver's license and access to an automobile with current Hawaii no-fault insurance.

    Preferred Qualifications: Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT)(R) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Experience in American College of Radiography (ACR) and Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) programs. Lead or supervisory experience.
