Summary :

The Performance Lab Technician will perform performance testing of compressors from production lines & customer line returns to ensure compliance with established quality specifications.

Perform BIR (Break-in Stand) & Performance Testing on compressors.
Utilize data from PPT, CATS, CPID quality databases to perform job functions.
Identify, contain, and communicate non-conforming compressors from the lab.
Utilize scanner system to track compressors in CPEL database for oracle.
Perform Cold Trap Testing.
Perform (TTS) testing on compressors charged with Refrigerant.
Must identify, handle and transport various types of refrigerant/chemicals.
Performs verifications & gauge R&R's on lab equipment.
Ability to follow established guidelines to implement and maintain quality systems for defect prevention.
Assists manufacturing engineers in qualification of machines through process capability studies and performs other key non-routine quality checks.
Communicates effectively with Operations, Technical and Quality teams.
Understanding of compressor (Electrical & Mechanical) operation.
Ability to navigate & utilize computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams etc.).
Ability to work different shifts during training periods, absences, vacation & overtime.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
