Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at a hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to provide high-quality respiratory care services to patients with breathing disorders. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will assess patient conditions, develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and effective care.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments to determine respiratory care needs for patients.
Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans tailored to each patient's unique requirements.
Administer prescribed respiratory treatments, medications, and therapies as needed.
Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and self-management strategies.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
Current certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist credential.
Indiana State license for Respiratory Care Practitioners.
Current certification in CPR.
ACLS and NRP certifications or completion within 6 months.

Compensation

Competitive salary range: $32-$36 per hour + shift differentials:

Weekend differential: $3.25 per hour.
Evening differential: $3.00 per hour.
Night differential: $4.00 per hour.

Bonuses: $15,000 sign-on bonus (half paid at 60 days, half paid after 1 year) and up to $4,000 relocation bonus upon approval.

Work Schedule

36 hours per week, nights, Monday-Friday 5pm-5am, every 3rd weekend.
