    **NYC Ferry is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator**

    **About the Opportunity:**

    As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will be responsible for the safe and timely shipping, distribution, storing packaging and otherwise transporting of inventory for NYC Ferry.

    **About You:**

    This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences RESPECT Service System.

    **Essential Duties & Responsibilities:**

    Inspect incoming inventory and equipment for quality before storing or rerouting.

    Use moving equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks to safe and efficient move inventory around the warehouse and shipping facility.

    Packaging inventory for safe shipping.

    Ensure delivery schedule is maintained and promptly alert supervisors if a delay occurs or is likely.

    Perform periodic inventory checks to ensure the accuracy of database information and minimize the risk of inventory issues.

    Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with Wheelhouse.

    Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

    Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.

    Additional job duties as assigned.

    **Requirements & Qualifications:**

    2+ years of experience in the Logistics field

    Must have a valid driver's license

    At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse setting

    Strong experience with inventory software and control systems

    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

    Previous marine experience preferred

    Proven track record of working successfully in a team environment
