    The Sr Revenue Accounting Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely recording of Revenue and A/R related transactions in accordance with US GAAP.

    This role manages models, processes and systems related to Revenue and A/R and drives efforts across Sales, Accounting, I/T and Finance to ensure appropriate accounting treatment is applied, impacts to the P&L are understood clearly, and solutions continue to support the proper and efficient recording of these transactions.

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvide expertise and leadership in the area of revenue recognition, and ensure revenue is recognized in accordance with ASC 606 and other applicable US GAAP standards, for Callaway and its subsidiaries.

    Perform month-end and quarter-end close duties related to Revenue and A/R, including but not limited to calculate and record complex deferred revenue and revenue accruals, ensure appropriate revenue cut-off, perform account reconciliations and roll-forward analyses on deferred revenue and accounts receivable accounts.

    Ensure data in supporting revenue schedules and calculation is accurate and regularly test models and assumptions.
    Evaluate global trends related to Revenue and A/R and lead communication to senior management.

    Compile consolidated reporting, support schedules, and analysis on areas related to Revenue and A/R for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.

    Provide guidance and support for revenue operational processes (from order-to-cash cycle) to ensure Revenue and A/R is recognized and classified consistently (across Callaway and its subsidiaries) and in accordance with US GAAP.

    This includes sharing accounting guidance, best practices, and system solutions.

    Communicate and collaborate with cross functional teams (Sales, Finance, Marketing, Accounting) to identify new and existing business processes, programs and agreements and provide guidance on Revenue and A/R impacts and requirements.

    Perform ASC 606 revenue analysis on any new or existing sales programs or agreements, and include relevant documentation of management's assessment and conclusion, as needed.

    Stay current on Accounting Standards pronouncements and updates (especially related to Revenue and A/R) and incorporate any updates/changes to Company policy, as necessary.

    Streamline systems and reporting tools to ensure efficient & accurate recording and proper classification of Revenue and A/R.Manage Revenue and AR related projects and collaborate with business owners and I/T to design and implement system solutions, as needed.

    Responsible to apply, enforce and execute controls necessary to ensure revenue forecasts, deferred revenue balances and revenue accounting execution are compliant with Company policy and US GAAP.Provide supporting schedules and information to internal and external auditors for areas related to Revenue and A/R.TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)Demonstrate technical knowledge and thorough understanding of US GAAP (especially revenue recognition standards ASC 606), as well as the ability to apply judgment within defined policies and practices.

    Prior experience in revenue and deferred revenue accounting.

    Able to extract pertinent data from ERP system for analysis and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the order to cash process and system impacts.

    Strong analytical skills and ability to work with undefined processes and limited information to formulate solutions and recommendations.

    Strong organizational and time management skills /ability to continually prioritize workload and respond to top priorities with a sense of urgency.

    Detail-oriented with both the ambition and willingness to dive into the details necessary to accomplish responsibilities and solve problems.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.

    Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel.
    Advanced knowledge of SAP preferred.
    Intermediate experience with Business Warehouse, Business Objects, or similar reporting tools.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBA in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience; CPA/MBA highly desirableMinimum 5 years of Accounting or Finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing/distribution related company or consumer products industry.

    Minimum 3 years of assurance/audit experience in Public Accounting. Big four or national tiered firm preferred.
    Combination of Public and Industry Accounting experience is preferred.
