    About the Role


    The Human Resources Intern will directly assist Lighting Group HR with a wide range of projects related to recruiting, onboarding/orientation, and employee benefits.

    Your Responsibilities



    • Supports recruitment activities for open jobs (review resumes, schedule interviews, conduct phone screens and reference checks, etc.)

    • Assists in onboarding and new hire orientation (benefit enrollment, payroll change forms, badges, IT requests, etc.)

    • Provides general administrative or special project support to MML HR Director, upon request.

    • Maintain strict confidentiality of all information obtained within HR- written or verbal.

    • Communicates with other departments as required.

    • Performs special projects as assigned and other duties as required.

    Who we are looking for



    • Some related experience, preferred.

    Your preferred qualifications



    • Working toward a degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.

    • Minimum high school diploma (or GED equivalent).

    • Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    • Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)

    • Strong technical and analytical competence in select areas of technology.

    • Ability to work independently when required.

    • Organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment.

    • Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.

    • Position will be onsite at Novi, MI facility
