    Responsibilities
    • Render direct patient care and imaging services in a safe manner
    • Responsible for all aspects of the Radio pharmacy to include dose preparation, administration, and disposal
    • Utilize various pieces of imaging equipment throughout the hospital, and perform quality control of each
    • Use various hospital computer systems to include but not limited to NMIS, PACS, RIS as part of normal day-to-day activities
    • Maintain and document all records as required by NRC and DEP
    • Operate each gamma camera with confidence and competence
    • Assist physician in performing procedures, and computer enhancement of images
    • Utilize aseptic techniques, and demonstrate ability to perform intravenous injections
    • Consult with patients to obtain a complete clinical history
    • Monitor and record all radioactive materials received in the department for leakage or damage
    • Perform any and all other duties as assigned
    Qualifications

    Job Requirements:

    • Be a graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
    • NJDEP license
    • ARRT or NMTCB registry
    • BLS certification

    Preferred Job Requirements:

    • 5+ years of clinical experience in a hospital setting as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, as well as experience with PET/CT
